Well first off, I always have some sort of weird, sharp pain right near the muscle that starts on top of the wrist and goes around the side. I can see it in my mind as a vein just ****** hurting, but i really don't know for sure what that one is. The other ones I have are both on my chest, one is near my heart. This one usually hurts all the time, but if I'm pre-occupied I don't normally know its actually hurting. The other one is right below the last rib on the right side of my body, there is some sort of indent that is just painfull all the time. I cope with it by putting my hand on it, I don't know why but it usually takes away the pain. Could someone please explain why I am having this pain, I don't know what to do sometimes, its hard to sleep.

There are a number of possibilities such as carpal tunnel syndrome that could be causing this pain. The only way to know for sure what is causing this pain is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

With the pain in your wrist, do your pinky and ring finger sometimes go numb? or is it just a sharp pain. Either or, the pain could be caused by the tendon (i cant spell, sorry), that wraps around your elbow and connects near your wrist. Or if you do something like type or computer gaming, simply the angle at which you have your hands could effect this. I know this next question is kind of personal, but are you overweight? If so then it just adds a little more onto my answer, the pain by your heart could be as simple as heartburn or indegestion. Even if its not the same feeling, try staying away from foods with a lot of grease and/or dairy products. I sometimes get the pain near my right rib too, kind of sharp like someone is stabbing you? I honestly don't have any Idea what it is, but it could be a number of things, such as food intake, exersize habbits, or just muscle cramps. Hope this knid of helps. Advil is always good for the wrist pains though!
