After researching cars for a few months, I narrowed it down to the Versa and the Scion xD, but the more I think about it, the more likely I am to go with the Versa, but I can't decide which I like better, which one do you like?

I'm not really asking Versa vs xD, I'm most likely getting the Nissan, as I just want a small reliable car to get me from A to B, but I was asking whether I should get the Sedan Versa or the Hatchback Versa.

The Versa sedan looks much better than the hatchback. I like the side profile fo the sedan better than the hatchback. I think the side profile of the hatchback looks awkward. I personally think you should get the Scion xD though. It really looks cool, and the interior lights are especially cool. The Versa models are too plain. Either way, Nissans and Toyotas are very reliable, and hold their resale value very well.

I would prefer the Nissan Versa hatchback because it looks better than the sedan.

Hatchback! It is more versatile and you can haul more stuff with it. Rear visibility is usually better, meaning backing up is easier. Also, the WRC driver for Subaru says hatchback is more stable due to the aerodynamic.

I will give you one downside though. It is that a hatchback is generally a little noisier than its sedan sibling. Go test drive one and see if you think it is noisier and whether you can live with that.

Small trunk or large cargo hold? I think the hatchback offers more room with the seats folded. Sedan trunk is small is why I would go with the cargo room. I reccomend a little extra monthly payment and get the fully loaded car with the high end radio and alloy wheels. It will be worth it trade in time.
