I was downloading a 100MB file from rapidshare using IE6. After 99% download the file was being copied into the folder I had selected to be saved in (created on desktop). However, I accidentally pressed "Esc" key and the copy from, I guess, temp. folder to the designated folder was cancelled. Can I find the file anywhere or would I need to download again? I did a search on C: for all files >90MB but did not find the file. Could anyone help. Thanks.

ok... 1st thing to do.. try to search again the file name itself.
do you remember the file name being used when downloading? good if you still remember.
do not just look on Drive C, sometimes, files are moved to other folders, other drives,.. etc.. just look all of the posible hard drives and folders.

if it turn 0 results, then maybe there are two posible answer for that, either when you accidentally pressed esc.. it was not saved to your computer, or your file name was wrong so of course, it may turn to 0 results.. so be sure to know the file name..

if it turns 0 results and you think that it was really deleted, just redownload again..
goto this website and download the free DAP or Download Accelerator Plus : www.speedbit.com
..DAP is free download manager that can download files so fast(depending on the speed of ur internet).. i think 100 MB is enough for about 20-50 minutes if ur using DSL or LAN.
or if u dont want to download this one.. just try to repeat the one you downloaded and just be careful from now on.
Hope that this one would be helpful to you!

Start the download again. I put a folder in My Documents titled Downloads and put all my downloads there.

If the download was not 100% finished what you have downloaded will not show up in any file.
