Thank you very much to all who answer this. I want to preface this question by saying that it is not meant to make anyone feel bad. I would only like to guage the views of some people of religion with this question.

Do you think that one who feels that God is sufficient for him/her is superior to one who feels that God is not sufficient for him/her? Why/why not?

Again, thanks for answering.

To yakiti_yak, thanks for answering. I think you have that scripture wrong. You might want to read it in it's full context, as I think it confirms my asking this question.

I don't believe that I am superior to anyone in God's eyes. I believe that God's love and God's offer of salvation is equal to all of us.

No person is more special to God than any other person as God loves all people the same. God is not a respector of persons. But God Cannot bless those who sin, or those who will not come to him.

There is an advantage that a person can gain over his fellow man, however, and that advantage is gained when any person developes greater intelligence than another by his obedience to the commandments of God. This is of course a self evident truth. God will bless the obedient while he will withhold blessings from the disobedient. The wise will learn how to be obedient while the unwise will simple rebel .

"We have all fallen short" should answer that one. I do not feel superior, but I feel blessed that I have listened to the Word and changed my life. I hope others will do the same in good time. I don't think it's a question of God "not being sufficient," BTW. I think iti's a hardened heart that cannot find faith.

The former one may be either saturated or feel's enough
The later one maynot be saturated or other way to look is ...still exploring to make feel sufficient...

These are very subjective questions and vary from person to person and is not related to organized religion..

No! No man should EVER feel superior to another man ever. Whether it be simply because of smarts, looks, or especially ones spitiual beliefs. Period.

However, It would be VERY wise for one to have faith that God is "Most High". Period.

No,my reasons are this everyone's path is different in life. We all think differently and act different. No one belief"s are better than another everyone has the right to choose their own path. I think all religion's have something to offer that may be valid.

Not at all. I would say people can find personal (and even spiritual) fulfillment in anything. Purpose in life is what you make of it, really.

I mean, honestly, there are people who devote their lives to cutting open other human beings.

I love everyone.I dont belong to an organized religion.I learned that everyone is equal in God's eyes. But by receiving Jesus in your heart you become part of His family. The body of Christ

It is like I love my spouse. But I also love others because that could be me.And I love everyone because Jesus loved me first.

I don't understand your question. People can believe what they want. I don't think belief in god is any better or worse than not believing in god.
