First off "inhiseye" you said that if evolution were true then yes we would create god...so basically you are answering yes since evolution is true
And to the girl who said she feels jesus in her heart how can he be created...you mean the same way muslims feel allah in there hearts?
same way pagans feel their gods etc etc

The question in other words is...Maybe there is no god and people created him because there was none..and they needed a sense of comfort so they wouldn't have to face death (Non-existence, No afterlife), also to explain the (At the time) unexplainable, like why it rains and why it floods and why natural disaster that we now know are based on laws of the earth and the universe..and not a supernatural hand causes these things..

Why does humanity play "if"?
It creates confusion, and headaches, If, doesn't matter. It is, what it is ,that we have to deal with.
I believe there is a God, therefore, I worship and obey. If you or others say differently, then that is what you deal with.
How can the clay invent the potter?
IF there is no God............
If there is no right or wrong...........
If a frog had wings..........
asking "IF" will never change "Is".

No. If there were no God why would we need one?
If man created a god way back when. It would be easy for another man to say that god did not exist. Then he might create his own for some reason. But the first one or another person might object. And perhaps create their own. Then whose god is the greatest? The whole argument for god falls flat on its face. The belief in a god would have been demolished.
If instead God created man and man knew it then there is no question a God existed. Then men would be fighting over whose idea of God is correct. Early societies even called their leaders a God. This has been historically true for thousands of years. (Big hint Noah's family kept the faith).
In modern times men close their eyes to history and say with a straight face, God does not exist.
This is just my Christian observation on unbelief and why.
Edit: The premise still stands even when you add in afterlife or explaining the causes of nature or to give comfort for man.

Truth of the matter is that the existence of God has been debated for a long time and the answer has yet to be answered. For many, the answer is a question of faith.
For those who think there is no God, then the next question to answer would be "who am I?" which is the first question that philosophers posed. The existence of God in some circles was said to be the answer to "who am I", where humans needed to find their own source of existence and therefore pointed to God.
In essence, it's not worth debating over whether God exists but to be able to trust that God is in everything that we do, see, and believe in.

Perhaps it would be necessary.
I just feel antagonized when an atheist tells me I'm wrong (much, I assume, like an atheist feels when they are told they are wrong and "going to Hell"). Does a person honestly believe that 95% of the human population suffers from a mass delusion? Are they really that arrogant to believe they know better?
This is it: I, personally, have been on this planet for 18 years. That's it. Earth is far far far far older than that. I know virtually nothing about what is possible, reasonable, or rational in this existence. God is entirely possible - and therefore not entirely unreasonable.

For one, if there were no God, there would be no question in the first place as there would also be no you.
But assuming you are suggesting we would still be here (and stating that evolution were true) then yes people would still create one. It's human nature that people place something at such a high place that it becomes a ritual and almost god-like to them. For some it's computers, tv, music, another person, ect.. It wouldn't necessarily be called "God" but it would still take on worship.
*answering your second question* Thank you for re-stating my answer in your own words, sir. I am not stating that evolution is true, but we won't go to that argument tonight.
However, yes, I am stating that it is human nature to create something to worship for oneself, but not necessarily an entire organized religion. Worshiping something is putting it in a god-like place in one's heart. It is not creating God, but placing something into that kind of importance in your life. Even you have one, like it or not. Clear enough?
P.S. please do not ignore the first part of this origional post.

Hey!
No.
We wouldn't exist.
Duh.
As for the question of saying there is no God, it's just a manifestation of mankind's desire to not be nothing (which isn't a question at all, just a statement of what you believe and a challenge to those who believe otherwise)...explain to me, dear one, why our cells stop their regenerative process. There is no medical, nor scientific reason found for this. The mechanics of human biology just suddenly stop working. And we die without rhyme or reason.
By magic?
Or by God?
Your decision.
Luv ya,
Tashi :)

If I wanted a lake to paddle a canoe, would I have to make one? yes, silly answer to a silly question. Since there is a God, the question is mute, and it's not "scientific or philosophical inquiry" to keep asking the same inane question.
