Since i have been at college, I am a freshman, I have been hanging out with this girl. She is the first girl that I would say I have truly been friends with. However since Ive met her she has been in a relationship with a guy from another college. They have "taken breaks" and during those breaks we have hooked up. Finally, they broke up for good about two weeks ago. Now I am wondering what to do. It is obvious that we both like each other and I know I have to give her time because she had been dating that guy for three years. But, she is a girl that I can definitley see myself in a relationship with. But I also dont want to ruin our friendship

Just don't try and rush into things. Like you said, you know you have to give her time. If you jump in to fast you may lose your friendship, or you may be used as the "rebound" guy and get your feelings hurt. Talk to her, after a few weeks or so she how she responds to you, if its a positive way then take action. But for now let her know you are there for her, but at the same time express your feelings or you may fall into the "best friend" roll.

ease into it. she's just gotten out of a 3 year relationship. it wouldn't be good to be with her while she's on the rebound, although it may be tempting. i'd say just treat her like a friend, be there for her and then within a couple more weeks you may have developed an even closer bond b/c u didn't rush in to have something romantic w/ her. rather- u put her feelings first. good luck.

Continue to be your sincerest self, you will be appreciated. Let the relationship "grow" and very slowly as well, you will be successful. Anything that is "rushed" just won't work out. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, WHO can be against us? Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the GOD of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

just ask her for a date or something... there will be no probs as both of you are friends... tell her about your feeling and make it as a joke at first and if she ask you if you are joking or not, say that you are serious. then, later if she says that she doesnt ready for a new relationship right now, then say that you are asking only. if you being so rush, she may dislike you... be cool...

Just keep doing what you're doing and let her make the move when she's ready. You could let her know your feelings for her, but let her know that you're willing to wait until she's ready.

the best thing to do would be to tell her that you'll always be there for her and tell her you will be ready hen she is ready. take things slow and you'll soon be a couple. no doubt about it.

Show her how you feel... in the bedroom. She'll come around.
