It doesn't matter whether you are a Muslim, Christians, Atheist, Hindu, Buddhist etc. Do you respect other religions (besides your own) by respecting their belief, ways of living or anything that has to do with their religion?

Yes of course we should show respect for the views of others! We may disagree but we all share the same planet so we need to tolerate one another. Since religion has often been the reason wars are fought, we need to address the issue of staying neutral in religious conflicts. If we claim to be Christian, then obviously we need to show the love that he taught his followers. Whatever we claim to be religiously, we need to have tolerance.

YES OF COURSE

For individuals, religious toleration generally means an attitude of acceptance towards other people's religions. It does not mean that one views other religions as equally true; merely that others have the right to hold and practice their beliefs. Proselytism can be a contentious issue; it can be regarded as an offense against the validity of others' religions, or as an expression of one's own faith.

In a country with a state religion, toleration means that the government permits religious practices of other sects besides the state religion, and does not persecute believers in other faiths. Historically, toleration has been a contentious issue within many religions as well as between one religion and another. At issue is not merely whether other faiths should be permitted, but also whether a ruler who is a believer may practice or permit tolerance. In the Middle Ages, toleration of Judaism was a contentious issue throughout Christendom. Today, there are concerns about toleration of Christianity in Islamic states

I respect others' religions, and I try not to insult anybody. Actually, I think this is true of most people here in y/a. But you know, it's the most outrageous statements that get the most attention.

Since God gives us all free will, I can respect everybody's right to choose their own religious preference. As far as respecting other religions goes, nothing personal, but I do not embrace any religion whose doctrine does not hold that Jesus is the Christ. For such a religion would be anti-Christ.

Yes, I am very tolerant of other religions. I just believe that everyone should be allowed to believe what they wish too. Sometimes I would say I'm an Atheist, other times a Christian, and other times a Buddhist.. But in the end, I just feel completly neautral :)

Yes, I do. However, there are many individuals that insist on being uncivilized, and rude, and vindictive, and just plain nasty to one another. Many hypocrites use their religion to promote their own self-hate and prejudice, which is why so many religious and spiritual people from vastly different backgrounds are at war with one another.

God loves everyone, okay! We should practice more tolerance and patience as a people instead of dividing ourselves over something that should bring us together.

I respect the religions, but not the people who practice them if they are going to be ***** about it. I tend to have less respect for modern Christianity because I feel like it is somewhat hypocritical in that it's teachings are contrary to the man the faith is named after.

Did you ever notice that Muslims always respect other religions but Christians never respect other religions especially Islam.

I do respect other people's religions. I am a Christian, but believe we are all looking for the same thing. I have my beliefs, and others are entitled to theirs. I am not God and have no right to judge anyone else's beliefs.
