on the net. and you feel youve actually fallen in love with them. when you finally get to see their pic and your NOT to happy with their looks...would you be honest, and tell them to end all? or would you keep shtum and carry on loving that person?

Looks are very important. If I really liked their personality, I'd probably give it a chance and see if I could still be attracted to them. I learned the hard way that you should always ask for a realistic photo immediately and give one as well. No one likes to feel rejected for their looks after having an online crush and it's also a let down for the other person - although I do blame them for not finding out sooner by asking for several photos or meeting them before a crush developed.

I don't think I could get that attached to someone on the net,but if I did feel I had a strong bond with them,and saw their picture but it wasn't what I expected to be,I would still keep in contact with them,as assuming they are a nice person I wouldn't want to let that go.

Before I really get know someone on the net I make sure I see pics first.
But if I was in your situation I would carry on talking to them. If their personality is good and you get along well, their looks shouldn't really matter. Looks are not everything.

how on earth can you fall in love with someone if you havent even met them, let alone seen their face???
i'd argue that, for whatever reason, youve become infatuated with this person and, for whatever reason, youve convinced yourself that you love them when, really, you cant possibly love them

erm... sounds harsh.. why not give them a chance?
remind yourself what you fell in love with? their personality? their sense of humour?
if that isn't strong enough to remind you of your feelings for that person - then yes, it is probably best to end it. its unfair on that other person

i agree with the first dude who answered. i don't think you can truly fall in love with a person you haven't met. thats just plain dumb.
