No, sweetie. Your question made me giggle. That means you get a star!

They will not be "inspecting" you. lol That's so cute. You won't have to take your clothes off either. Nothing to be self consious about. I promise!! Get well soon, Sweetie! Oh yeah, that star! :)

chances are very slim that you will have to wear the robe. your doc will probably just ask you questions and at most poke your stomach a bit (if you are having pains there?) There is seriously nothing to be self concious about when going to a doctor. They have seen it all, seriously....everything. So good luck and a happy new year!!!

they might , but not likely if they are just checking you about your flu. they make you wear the robe when you are going for a yearly physical where they have to check you all over to make sure you are healthy.

they dont "inspect" you tho and u dont need to be self-conscious since doctors see a lot of gross stuff !!!

think about what they might need to examine...your heart-rate, blood pressure, lung sounds and maybe abdominal sounds/ pressure. They certainly wouldn't be doing a pelvic. I am not sure what you are concerned about but the doctor will only take a history and examine those areas necessary to follow-up on your description of your symptoms.

Relax, go see what happens and then react to it as it happens. You are afraid of the unknown.

The doc will want to listen to your lungs so be prepared to remove your shirt if that is requested. Other than that, I don't think you will be required to put on one of those robes.
