You're not the only one. A PERFECT being doesn't operate with wrath and spite and fear and vengeance. That's all the trappings of man.
Even Jesus didn't preach Christianity. It didn't exist. Christians made it up after he left. Jesus taught a way of living and being and doing. They don't make Jews like Jesus anymore.
Remember, religion is for people who are trying to keep from going to hell. Spirituality is for people who have already been there.

No, I know several people in this category. Sometimes they had a bad experience with the church or religious people in their lives letting them down, and move into other forms of spirituality or become not religious at all.
A lot of the "drifters" I know left the church or moved on because they felt rejected or judged for not meeting up to standards, like they were told not to ever divorce but they were in an abusive relationship, or they're gay and they can't be that and go to church, but others just find something else (say, Buddhism) that makes more sense to them. BTW I'm a Christian, but I have many friends who are not, and some of them were raised religious.

"The Bible is likewise a library by applying nature besides as by applying call in that it quite is an prepared decision of books fairly than a single artwork. initially the Bible as an entire, like the previous testomony till now it, grow to be a decision of concrete separate books at a undeniable spot in area and time. those books themselves, in some cases (Psalms, Proverbs, Pentateuch), have been in turn made a unit by applying their association and naming as an entire. At this component, the place it grow to be a decision of genuine books, the Bible grow to be nonetheless a library, although if whilst copied as an entire it grew to grow to be a e book which like different comparable collections is likewise acceptable, although in a derived experience, referred to as a library (Library of yankee Literature, Altfranzosisch Bibliothek)." it quite is certainly an undisputed inspired library of e book/writings for the catholics. don't be attentive to what the needed 'bible on my own' group will say.

No. In fact most, particularly in the United States, were once believers. Christianity and the bible are ingrained deep into the culture. You are exposed to it from birth. It would be like asking someone to "give up" their first language.
But like most, reading the instruction book with a clear head will do the trick.
I was never especially religious, but casually believed in the idea of a supreme deity. I never subscribed to a specific god or faith, it just didn't click.

I was raised in a strong christian environment. After I moved out at the age of 19 I went through a time where I had many questions and didnt exactly lead a "right" lifestyle. Though through the questions and the pain and consequences of my choices during that time of my life i realized that I dont need to know all the answers to my questions... my faith, God... its just apart of me and there is no escaping it. All of what happened strengthened my faith in him.
So i guess my answer to this question is yes and no. Since I was in that place... but no longer am.

I wasn't raised in a Christian home and thought that anyone that believed in any god, was someone weak and needed a crutch. I found that I was wrong. About 8 years ago, i found the truth and I believe in JESUS CHRIST. I am curious, why don't you believe. If you could email me, i would really appreciate it. I envy people that grew up in a Christian environment, but maybe it is better to learn the hard way. Anyway, let me know.

No, not by a long shot.
There are many, many, many ex-Christians out there, of which I am one. I was a Christian for 20 years. I left Christianity and later settled on atheism.
There is such a growing number of ex-Christians, in fact, that there is a site for them...

You are not the only one. I am not where you are now. I was there about 10 years ago. I came back. This time I got to go away and do my own thing and come back to it on my own. So what I have now is far more valuable than what I had before because I got it on my own and not from my family. You will only truly know if you find it yourself and that means going out to see.

First, you need to have faith in Christ, and in his universal church ... because these are the primary channels of all God's grace.
Many Christians attempt to make the Bible do what God and the church never intended ... and that almost always leads to difficulties like the ones you're experiencing.
Jesus founded a church. He never founded a Bible.
Jesus gave the power of binding and loosing to his church. He never gave that power to any book.
Jesus endowed specially prepared and anointed men to lead his church, and to wield the awesome power he gave to the church, for the purpose of our salvation.
No book is capable of doing that.
It's time for you to spiritually grow up. The only place for spiritual "grown-ups" is the Catholic Church.
Consider this a "wake-up" call.
