I made posters, asked neighbors, I'm so scared

if there is an spca (or aspca) around you, call them and leave a lost report, call any shelter and give them a description on the cat, so if they get him in, they will call you. also call local vets, some vet offices have bulliten boards up for people who have lost/found pets.
I hope you find your kitty :)

Did your kitten escape from your home while a door or window was left open?

If this is a young kitten and this was his first time out of the house, you might look near the house like under the porch, in bushes, up a tree and is afraid to come out even when you called.

Is there anyway he could have gotten into the basement or crawl space?

He may have found another happy home.

The most success I have had has been to do this: Take the info from the poster and make a Word document flyer with the same info. Include a pic, if you have one, and if not, be sure to mention the kitten's color, distinctive markings, etc.
Also, don't forget to leave a contact number for them to call.

Then, take your flyers door to door in your neighborhood. Try to personally hand each flyer to each person you visit.

Oftentimes, when people see how dedicated you are to finding your pet, they really keep their eyes peeled.

This search method worked for my sister's family when they lost their cat, for some other friends of ours when their dog escaped from their yard, and for me when my sick kitten ran off and went missing. All 3 animals were found and gotten back.

Good luck! Also, post flyers at your local vet clinics, on the bulletin boards at local stores, and on your neighborhood bulletin board, if you have one.

I hope your kitty is okay.

Most cats don't go too far when they get out, they are too afraid.

Try looking in your or your neighbor's yards, they are usually hiding in a small spot.

Try:

bushes
trees
wood piles
sheds
crawl spaces
storm drains
garage
any small corner where someone cat sized can hide.

Good luck

try calling all the shelters in your area. even if they don't have your kitten they can keep an eye out for him incase somebody brings him in. im sorry that you lost your kitty :( don't give up hope. are you sure that he isn't just hiding somehwere in the house? kittens can find some strange places to hide. is he new? sometimes when you first get them they hide because they are not use to their new suroundings. good luck to you

there is a good chance that your kitten could come back ! cats are very smart and have good senses of smell, so i think he would be able to find his way back home.

if your kitten is not neutered, that might have made him want to stray.

to ease your worry for now, you should know that cats (and even kittens) know how to fend for themselves

awww...i'm so sorry. Like the person above me said, notify local shelters and SPCA's. try looking around for him, in spots he usually went to when he was outside. offer a reward for his safe recovery. Other than that, just keep praying for him!! i will pray for u.
