Perhaps your headache is a result of the toothache you are speaking of? In this case, you need to reduce the swelling and inflammation in the gums that will increase pressure on the roots/nerves. You will need to see a dentist because you most likely have an underlying issue such as an abcess, etc that is causing the pain and pressure. Motrin works great --just make sure to eat with it. Then contact a dentist at your earliest opportunity. A muscle relaxer might knock you out, but it's not going to ease the pain of a toothache.

Muscle relaxers aren't for toothaches or headaches.

I don't see on how they would relieve pain the way they are indented to that way. Might help a tension headache some. But if I take a muscle relaxer I usually still have to take painmedication to get rid of the pain. So I would think you would not get a whole lot of relief.

toothaches are usually caused by nerve pain, which a muscle relaxer won't fix.

You can take muscle relaxers for a parking ticket if you want.
They basically just dull the pain receptors in your brain and make life easier and more relaxed.
