No, cheese can be produced from the milk of goats, sheep, and water buffalo as well.
Realistically, milk from any mammal could be made into cheese, but cows, goats, sheep, and water buffalo are the most common on the market.

Most are correct, I am a former chef and have had the run of the mill cow, goat and sheeps milk cheeses, and fresh mozzerla di buffilo from Italy, I also have had cheeses from Yak milk, reindeer milk in Sweden.

Most any mammal that produces milk in some capacity is able to product cheese, humans how ever have not the structure or amounts needed to make cheese from mothers milk, I had one in Turkey from Syria made with camels milk.

All have a unique flavour, so more pungent in taste or depending on there age and the bacterias used to curdle or ferment them, some can be quite heady, the Yak cheese was alot like limberger in taste and aroma.

Any animal that gives milk - i.e., all mammals - could be used as the source for cheese. Goat cheese is quite common, kangaroo cheese not so much. And yes, humans are mammals.

Everyone who has said that the milk of any mammal can be used to make cheese is right. In Italy, for example, water buffalo milk is used to make the best mozzarella, goat's milk is used to make "caprino" cheese, and pecorino cheese is made from sheep's milk.
