This is how I would do it...
Have your picture open in psp then copy it and paste it as new layer then close the original. Once again copy and paste as new layer now you have 2 separate pictures. With one of the pictures, click Image, then down to Greyscale. So that picture then becomes black and white.

Now you copy the greyscale picture and paste it on to your other picture, the coloured one. Make sure it's on top of your coloured image, so you now have 2 layers on that picture...have I lost you yet?

Now with your freehand selection tool make sure the selection type is point to point and the feather and smoothing are on 0.

Now you just trace around the shirt and when you have come to the end just right click and it will close off, so it looks like there are marching ants around the shirt.

Then you just hit the delete key on your keyboard and it will erase the grayscale part of the shirt.

Then you just go to Layers, click Merge Visible and then you save as jpeg or what ever.

Hope this helped =)

I would mask the shirt, copy it to the clipboard, convert the photo to black and white, then convert it back to color (even though it will stay black and white), then paste the shirt. That is how to do it in Photoshop, so I am guessing Corel is similar.
