My 6 year old loves Dan Zane, Laurie Berkner, and we have 2 cds called "For the Kids" that have some older and some newer kids songs performed by current music stars.

Greg and Steve. They are kind of old, I came across them at a preschool I worked at over the summer. They have a few songs that really get the kids moving if thats what you want. Names of some of their good ones are: Listen and Move; Popcorn; The Boogie Walk; and The Freeze

Try the band
Imagination Movers
also the Jack Johnson Curious George soundtrack.
I also think the Cheetah Girls have good messages.

You could look on eBay for the group called the Wiggles? I am an Aussie and I play them all the time in my day care centre. They have really fun songs, and lots of them too so you won't get sick of listening to them :)

How about trying a Joe Scruggs CD...I love that for my kids. Our school played it when I was in Elementary School.
