For a 13 month old baby boy. Who has severe allergies...food and environmental, has cronic diaper rash and yeast infections. And has cronic lose mucousy stools.

I know thats asking alot, and I know every diaper works differently for everybaby.

But I have to try something. They cannot have any fragrences, they HAVE to keep him dry as much as possible, and they have to be affordable and that I can find them at regular retailers.

Any help ??

Thanks

Your poor bub! I don't know if they are hypoallergenic, but I've found that Huggies keep my daughter so much drier than any other nappy we've tried Even when they are really full like first thing in the morning her skin still feels dry. She's never had a nappy rash.
Good luck.

pampers are the best! use cornstarch baby powder for each changing. but, if there is a bad diaper rash, vaseline works the BEST to heal it! It also keeps urine from irritating the rash. Vaseline will stop any urine from touching the skin and keeps the baby pain free. Cronic lose stools is a problem though. Talk to your doctor about that. Also feed baby bananas. That will help firm up the stools. No peaches, plums or oranges. good luck

Try the Pampers Baby Dry - I know they're meant for night-time but they are fantastic for absorbing moisture, and are easily available from most supermarkets. Also, see if you can Weleda Calendular Nappy Cream - it's a bit expensive and you'll probably only be able to find it in health/ alternative health shops, but it is the best stuff ever... You won't regret using it, as it is brilliant for ultra-sensitive skin - in my experience most barrier creams make rashes much worse, but this one works like a balm that soothes irritated skin. See the links below to see what it looks like... They have a whole range of baby stuff in case you need anything else.

Hope this helps.

Cloth. It is affordable after the initial cost of buying them, and they breath, use scent free detergent and just regular cloth diapers with plastic covers, it does wonders for a babies butt, they are a little extra work but well worth it to prevent rashes. My daughter(my first) was in them, we had no diaper rash with her. I use disposable with my boys, I usually get luvs but for a non scented diaper would be something like a 7th generation, I love the wipes chlorine/fragrance free! With cloth you can double them up, I got mine at babies r us. The main thing with them is frequent changes and soaking in the tub everyday with no soap in the water.
Good luck

Your poor baby! My daughter kept getting rashes and they wouldn't go away. I switched to diapers from Seventh Generation Baby. You can get them at whole foods or Henry's. You can go on their website also, Seventh Generation.com. The diaper are AWESOME! They are a beige color because they don't have chlorine bleach in them and no chemicals. The fit great, and I am picky about diaper. I love them and wish I would've known about them with my other kids. Try them, you will love them.

At Target, they have these organic diapers... those are about the same price as Pampers. They have everything you you want! Good luck, hope you find it. There is no chlorine, less diaper rash!

oh, it's called Nature's Best or something like that.

Our preemie had thrush, yeast infections we could never get rid of. Dont know much about your diaper question, but was curious if you were feeding him yogurt, especially with the probiotics. (we got into this after having a second, unfortunately didnt know this for the first) Looks like even things like Rice Yogurt can have these active cultures (like those Danon Activia commericals)
