Certainly. Or, if you are sure they are Wiccan, you can wish them a happy Winter Solstice, or a Blessed Yule -- because those are the names of the holiday we celebrate on December 21st.

Yes.

We have winter holidays, and summer and spring and autumn holidays. We like them to be happy, just as anyone else does.

When you sincerely wish happiness for another, those good wishes return to you three-fold. In other words, you will receive three times the happiness you have given. That might not seem like a lot, when it's such a small gesture, but an ocean is made of such small drops.

Of course it is! Wiccans celebrate Winter Solstice (Yule) in December - but many of us have friends and/or family that celebrate Christmas (and/or some of the other holidays around this time of year) and we are happy to celebrate with them too. We are a pretty inclusive bunch.

Deck the halls with boughs of holly...tis the season to be jolly!

Happy holidays to you too!!!

May '08 be great!

Or, in case you like the previous college (and Non-Christian) names: There are the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes, which symbolize the day and night being equivalent in length. There are the summer season, and iciness Solstices which symbolize the longest day and night of the 300 and sixty 5 days, and each of them symbolize the moments the seasons substitute. There are the extreme Kalends: February Eve, could Eve, August Eve and November Eve, which each and each symbolize a considerable turning interior the liturgical calendar. without the understanding of the liturgy in the back of them their meaning is diluted to the factor of nonsense.

Certainly. Wiccans celebrate holidays, too. Anyway, it's the thought that counts.

You betcha! Thank you (from pagans and heathens too!)

Yuletide Wishes, Merry Christmas, Solstice Greetings, Eid wishes, Kwanza celebrations, Saturnalia hopes, Happy Mithra/Horus/Dionysus birthday!

Happy holidays!

I definitely prefer Happy Holidays as opposed to Merry Christmas.

I work with the public and on December 24th I was inundated with wishes of Merry Christmas and generally said, "Thank you, to you as well."

It's ok to say whatever you want to anyone. That's what freedom is all about. You can't offend someone without his or her consent.

Just to let you know where I'm coming from, I'm an atheist and I take a "merry christmas" for what it is, a nice gesture. Sometimes I even return it.
