Now THIS is the kind of issue that could bring Catholicism to its knees. Tuesday is indeed the day for meditating on the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary. And yet, Christmas is officially the second most joyous day in the Roman calendar. Either one can philosophically project the joy of the Christ child's appearance onto the arduous redemptive work he would later fulfill, or one can call up the bishop and ask for a dispensation to choose another set of mysteries for the day.

Joyful for His birth. i take it youre not catholic?

Edit: aahh...you r catholic...guess you had a little too much eggnog. if this was a serious question and you are confused about this issue...try praying the full rosary instead of splitting it up...it only takes 15minutes-20mins.

Did you know John Paul II added the Luminous Mysteries?

Skepsie: "the gates of Hell will not prevail againsnt Her" The Catholic Church is the Bride of Christ. She kneels only to God. Your are misguided.
