Your way too young to think about marriage!
You should worry about school then seeing the world, then marriage in your 30's

Well, if it is an engagement type promise ring. I think in the future he has marriage on his mind. A promise ring is ok. At fifteen I would not go past a promise ring. An engagement ring means that you indeed want to get married etc. It means that there are actually plans in the process. You are young to get married. You have your whole life ahead of you.

OK, calm down. Yes, I'm happy for you. Must be exciting! Just don't think WAY to much into it!!!
It's a promise ring. Not an engagement ring. You two will have plenty of time to think about marriage. Just finish school, college.

Promise rings basically mean you are engaged to be engaged, if that makes any sense.
It means he sees a future with you, and wants to give you something to wear on your finger like an engagement ring, without actually being engaged because you are too young or it is too soon.

Don't think of it as any kind of engagement ring. It's just a gift. You're both much too young to be thinking about marriage.

When I was 15, mybotfriend gave me an engagement ring. Silly me -- I actually thought we'd get married. Turns out he was cheting on me and a nice diamond was enough to make me not notice. I'm much smarter now (and married to a wonderful man).
He's 15, and I assume you are near the same age. You have an entire lifetime ahead of you. Who knows what your man was thinking ... boys are dumb (sorry guys, it's true). Perhaps he thought you'd like it, or he wanted to 'mark' his territory. Enjoy your relationship ... have a good time ... stay safe. It's all just a big learning experience in the game of life!

Possibly but at 15 you've far more important things to do, like get an education and get a decent job, think about sorting your life out before getting tied down too early.

whoa--you are way too young to be getting something like that. I wouldn't consider it an engagement ring, but a token of love. Don't make a mistake you could regret at your age.
