Should I put the traditional senior pic or the one that best reflects me?

In evaluating the differences in the photos, I'm not convinced that the photographer took very much time to get to know more about what looks like a fun nature you have, and that s/he just started shooting how they shoot everyone. The senior photo looks good for what it is, it just fails to capture any personality.
I suggest getting the senior photo redone by a photographer that you can have fun with, that will take the time to get to know you and what you want to achieve with the photo, and who you feel comfortable and relaxed working with - that way you will have a well done portrait that reflects the real you.

I like both pictures. But I would go with the more traditional one. The reason for this is because when I was in high school, they didn't allow us to submit pics that had other people in them. They were suppose o look sophisticated. If you want to be remembered as a fun person than submit the first one, but you may decide later that you want a more traditional look. either way I think it would look good

Well, the first one might make you be remembered as a funny person. If that's what you want, then go for it. The professional portrait is obviously much better done, and would blend in with the rest.

Personally, I went with traditional, as did just about everyone else in my graduating class. But if you want to stand out...a lot, submit the one that represents you the best.

Your traditional senior pic is gorgeous! Make your parents happy, use that one! ... and believe me, in years to come, you'll be glad you picked that one too! I'm sure you have enough pics of "the real you" to remember high school with.

Someday, when you mature, you might regret the foolish grin and sticking your fingers out like a middle school-er. I'd go with the senior photo, it will be less embarrassing when you go to your reunions.

traditional. Don't they have a section for pics of just people folling around?
