I have a bald spot from allopecia the size of a quarter where my bangs should be. Is there a cut or something I can do to cover this up while it is regrowing? I don't want to wear a wig.

You can buy hair extenions that are headbands that have bangs attached to them. They are exactly what you need. Hair U Wear brand makes them, which is sold at Nordstrom, and I've also seen them online at hairextensions.com. They're right around 30 bucks, and they look natural. I have a form of alopecia, and I rely on extensions when I'm feeling self-conscious about it.

If the bald spot is just in the front, around your face, a nice bandana or headband would make it easier for you to wait for your hair to grow back without feeling self conscious or awkward with a wig. Choose something simple, not too bright or flashy, solid colors are the best and you can coordinate them with your clothes.
