Ok, earlier this year I failed my third attempt at college and in the process I lost my financial aid and I'm on academic suspension. The truth be told that I really didn't know what I wanted to do and I was also lazy and heavily depressed. Things have changed now and I know now that I want to be a Journalist. Do I need college? If so, then what should I do or should I give up? If not, then is there another way?

You'll need a degree in Journalism to get a job at any reasonable sized organization. You might be able to get a job with a small local paper, or a job as a stringer, without the degree, but those won't lead to a journalism career.

Now that you know what to do, get back into school, even if all you can afford is part time while you work, and get the degree you'll need to make a successful career.

Good luck.
