When I was twelve I really wanted to go to girls camp. Which ment I would be away from my whole family of 14 for a week and a half. On my way there I cried and I cried and listened to sad music just to endulge my emotions. It was hard while I was doing it because I felt pathetic. But really thinking about it now, it's now verry easy to go places now. I still miss my family but I let myself do things and go places in spite of all that. Once I got to camp I had a freaking blast and I only truly missed my family at night and even then I was ready and excited for the next day. So no matter how much you miss them the one time, that one time will give you emotional freedom. And once you get over it, it will be so easy.
The only time you'll feel bad is when you discover you have really made the wrong decision. Sometimes you're just meant to stay at home, and when you make the wrong choice to stay or go, it hurts. But either way, you get over and then it's all the better when you get home to your family.

This is kind of short notice. Look, you want to go, so focus on that. Remind yourself about all the good things about the trip. Tell yourself all about how much fun you're going to have, so you want to go. It can be a bit unnerving to leave the safety and comfort of home. But don't forget that life happens outside the home. Think of home as your headquarters, there you plan your life and then you go out and live it. It's always there for you in between adventures, but it is not your only place.
I'd suggest you make a point of leaving the house every day. Even just for a walk to the park or something, just to get yourself out. Especially on days you don't feel like it. Find an excuse, go get a drink from the store, anything. That way you'l be more used to being out. When you get together with friends, meet them somewhere. Even if you end up hanging out at home later, just get out at the start.
Good luck.

Honey, I'm 27 years old, married, and have my own house (which I'm away from at the moment) and so homesick I could die.
I hate being away from home, even if I'm just going to visit my grandmother.
If you truly don't want to go tomorrow, then don't. Just say you have cramps or something to that effect. If you do go, call your parents at night, but don't stay on the phone forever and try to relax and enjoy yourself.
I sympathize with you! xoxox

Can you bring a cell phone and call home to talk to someone if you need to? And maybe just keep reminding yourself how mad you'll be at yourself if you can't stick it out. And try to stay awake as much as you can in the car so you'll be really tired tomorrow night so you'll be one of the first to go to sleep. I'll bet you can do it. I hope you have a good time.

Maybe you can bring something from home that makes you feel comfortable.
Bring it with you on the plane or in your car-
do you have any electronic gameboys or a good luck charm or a picture of your family in your pocket?
You'll feel like you haven't completely left home, that home is with you and you'll feel better during the trip.

confident and No. no longer plenty homestead ill for the placement they stay as for the people they stay with.yet they do alter as we talk if something happens and that they loose there homestead or the human they love..in maximum situations approximately 3 weeks. yet some animals have been nicely-known to grieve themselves to loss of life over a flow or loss of human or yet another puppy. we don't provide them the credit they deserve..

aww i get homesick too. im 16. idk if this will help but i try to think of things as an opportunity. you dont get to go there that often, so you should be happy. i also think of what my parents want for me too. they want me to have fun where im going, and everything will be okay when i get back {they always tell me that) idk if this helps but thats how i try and deal with my homesick and that helps. Phonecalls to family also helps too! :)
