I'm not sure of the spelling but it sounds like Ter-que-or. My mother and Grandmother have both past and I can't ask them where it originated. If any one out there has any information I would greatly appreciate it. It's a memory I have kept going with my own children. Christmas morning just wouldn't be the same without it. Thanks in advance for any answers.

The recipe consists of Ground Pork, Celery, Onion and salt & pepper. I know, so simple but when it's put in a two crust pie shell it's unbelievably delish. It has a thick gravy too. Thanks guys.

So far.... Logic....the Taste of Home recipe is the closest. Still would like some more details on the origins and story behind it's creation. Thanks

It may be similar to the English Pork Pie which is made in a loaf pan and has ham/pork and gelatin in it.

On a similar note, here's a Hungarian pork aspic both my mom and grandma make that you might want to try and is quite tasty: http://recipehut.homestead.com/JelliedPigsFeet.html

Bon appetite! (dang, now you made me hungry).
