I really hope so... I was disappointed with the last Ratchet and Clank game and I really don't want to have to buy a PS3 or PSP just to play the game

Rachet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction most likely will not be released on the PS2.

So far, I've noticed that the majority of games produced/developed by Sony are PS3 exclusives and Sony(SCEA) isn't developing any more games for the PS2. So basically if you want to play Sony exclusives that are produced by SCEA, you'll have to get a PS3. The majority of the games being released on the PS2 are 3rd party games.

The developers wouldn't even be able to fit the same amount of content into the new Rachet and Clank game if it were made for the PS2.

But I really recommend that you buy the PS3 anyways. There is rumored to be a new Jak and Daxter game coming in 2008, plus a bunch of PS3 exclusives next year.

if you buy a psp it will not help you much as r&c ToD doesnt work on it. Also about the game coming out for ps2 it will not happen because i dont think that Insomniac makes games for it anymore
