I personally dont think that this is a heart problem, sounds to me that you are experiancing panick attacks as you have stated and you could also be experiancing anxiety...the best thing that you can do is go to the doctor and explain what your sysptoms are and let the doctor do his/her job and itentify what is wrong and then you will get the help that you need .Good luck

Don't give up - there's help and always hope. My panic attacks didn't start until my 20s, but when I ended up in the hospital 3 times over a long weekend, and my doctor had run every test he could, I agreed to see a psychiatrist. First off, it wasn't until my fourth shrink that I found someone I really felt comfortable with, who I thought really was helping me. You may not "click" with the first person you go to. Don't let that stop you! Also, a combination of psychotropics and therapy works better than either one alone. A psychiatrist to administer and monitor medication - and you may have to try a few things. Not everything works for everybody. Finding the right psychotropic or combination may take some trial and error; again, it's worth the effort. A therapist would be more about talking and sharing in a safe place, more frequently than you would see a psychiatrist. Maybe a few times a week, maybe just once a week. Maybe for a few months, maybe for a few years. Again, make sure trust this person and feel they have your best interest at heart, not just looking to bill you for a session. I've been through this. Still go through it; it will be a bit of a lifetime battle, I think, but I've found some folks who help me through and it's a million times better than it used to be. Good luck. There are people who can and will and want to help.

I have panic attacks too! I know how awful they can be. Anxiety is totally normal. You might feel short of breath, or like you can take in a deep enough breath. You might also feel like reality doesn't exist. Or like things around you aren't really happening. Sort of an out-of-body feeling. Just remember you are not alone! You can go to a doctor, but I've found other ways other than medication to calm down my anxiety. Like reading a book, relaxing, talking through what's making you anxious. It might help! Good luck!

Anxiety is normal only under reasonable circumstances, per se, people are being mean to you, people are picking on you, harrasment, but you should not feel so nervous and scared the way you do. Sure, you can some sort of panic problem, but it can also be your heart. Go see a doctor and take it easy.

Don't sit idle: practice one of the relaxation techniques below, instead! Or read a book. Or listen to music on an MP3 or transistor radio. Or write a journal, diary, or book. Or draw with colored pencils. Or carve wood, etc. PANIC ATTACKS: Have you seen the techniques for control of panic attacks, in section 8, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris yet? Begin by holding your breath for 5, or 10 seconds: this will give you the confidence to realise that YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR BREATHING, but not pass out, or die (your autonomic nervous system resumes breathing, if unconscious). Understand panic attacks, and what triggers them, in your life (if it is unresolved anxiety, see section 6). The paper bag method works for most people: have you tried it? If you are fairly suggestible, the following are reliable, and reasonably priced:

Your last alternative is psychotherapy, to address its fundamental cause: read section 1, and examine the 1-800-therapist website, and use the locators, and phone book. I used to suffer from panic attacks, until I questioned what had changed recently in my life, to trigger them? I suggest that you learn, then practise the controlled breathing technique, until competent, then employ it, at the very first sign of a panic attack. ANXIETY: See anxiety treatments, at * ezy-build (below) in section 6. Set yourself a fixed limit for worrying about any particular subject, (say; 15 minutes) after which, resolve firmly to refuse to even consider that subject again on that day: realise and accept that to do otherwise would be counterproductive to your mental health, and enjoyment of life. Use the technique for reprogramming negative thoughts and internal monologue (self talk), on pages 2, and 2L, to help you in this, and consider carrying a wide rubber band in your pocket: put it on your wrist; stretch, and release, as a means of reinforcing it, and speeding up the process, re-pocketing it afterwards. Practice one of the relaxation methods on pages 2, 11, 2c, or 2i, daily, and when needed. Also, give the EFT a good tryout, to see if it helps you. There is also a version for use in public places, (if you like, you can claim to have a headache, as you massage/lightly tap your temples). Section 53, and pages 2, 2.q and 2.o at * http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris also refer.

Get out of missile range from Pakistan. There a few places
in India that might yet escape blast and possible fall-out. If
you eliminated all threat sources then it follows the known cause for concerns would be negated. Fight or flight are the
two most common responses to anxiety.

Anxiety up to a level is perfectly normal and necessary to to lead a healthy, creative life. But beyond a particular level where you can not cope with it-and your panic attack as you call is suggestive of that-it is considered as abnormal and requires professional attention. The aim of therapy is to help maintain body-mind relaxation and calm as well as identifying the source of anxiety and try to deal with it without getting unnerved.
