I am unclear why you are having difficulty in getting a job

1. Have you graduated high school or have a GED?

2. What are your job skills?

3. What do you think are the reasons you are not able to get hired?

4. What positions are you applying for?

5. Have you contacted your State's agency in job training> They sometimes will pay for your schooling to train you for a job trade. You must apply and get qualified for assistance

There is a lot of information gap here.

Add detail to the above questions and I can then edit my answer to better assist you in regards to BOTH job and Dell.

I think the reason you are not getting a clear response because it is uncertain what answer you are seeking? The following is based on guess worK and needs more detail follow up: You may email me direct or IM me (email is best) to where I may better assist you for your specific need.

Please add the following detail to the questions below to better your answers. Once you post the answers, I can better Edit a response for you or again email me direct

1. I take it you are in collections from Dell which is currently showing up on your credit report as an outstanding, unpaid bill?

2. You are having difficulty getting a job because many jobs are basing it on your credit history?

3. When was the loan or debt started? When was you last payment? When was the last time you promised money?

4. Many employers do not require credit history as a means for employment, a few municipality, government, and high end corporate jobs do. Good credit history shows responsibility and reliability

5. Is there a judgement against you for wage garnishment?

6. If you truly cannot get a job because of your outstanding credit history, contact your State agency for possible unfair hiring practices, which is managed by the Equal Opportunity Council (EOC)

We are missing so much in between detail and this is why you are having a hard time getting a proper answer resposne.

Thanks for answering the questions!

I'm not sure what your question is. If its how to lower the fees Dell charged, say if you missed a payment and they increased your interest rate or what not, the answer is that you just have to pay it. The ethics of their practices may be questionable, but they are commented fully in their contract.. Sadly, you just need to pay off the bill as soon as you can so you can keep your credit and keep it from getting hurt more.

If you're looking for a job, if you can't get a good one get a bad one. Restaurants, box stores, landscaping... there are many jobs that don't rely on money management where you can get them if you have bad credit.

Your question, I think, is "how do I get the Del company that I owe a large amount of money to, to not proceed with wrecking my credit"? I think that by letting the balance owing get that large, you've already wrecked your credit.
If that is your question,I would suggest you set up a payment plan with them. Have they already repossessed their equipment for your non-payment?
You say that you don't have a job, well how did you get a computer then? Did someone co-sign for you?
You say that you can't find a job because everyone there who has a job keeps it.
There's always a way to earn money, walk dogs, clean yards or homes, babysit, wash cars..........
Sell some of your possessions

So you are asking for financial help with Dell ?
Or you do you want help in writing a letter to them?
Do you owe them that much for a computer?
Can you send the computer back to them?
Dell had computers at walmart for $600.00 bucks the day after thanksgiving so you could send the one you have back and purchase four computers and still have change for what you just paid them>

Where in Michigan are you?
Best of luck to you
and if you are not working how are your other bills being paid?

Restaurants are always looking for waitresses and kitchen help. Dept. stores are hiring. A car wash is always hiring. Just go to a mall and ask for a job at the stores.
