Yummy!! You're already making me hungry. Breaded pork chops with southern cream gravy (made from the fat from the fried pork chops) and whipped potatoes with lots of butter and cornbread muffins to go along with the black-eyed peas with little bits of bacon and onion chopped up into them. Maybe instead of whipped potatoes a great big Russet baked and then lots of sour cream and chives stuffed into it hot out of the oven. If anyone said eww or they're getting tired of them because the "good fortune" doesn't seem to be working for them don't know what they're missing.

We have had black eyed peas for so many years, and they haven't done anything for us yet, so no.
Though since I love cornbread maybe I'll make it.
How about baked beans, they sound better.

We will. I was lucky enough to get fresh peas and greens from my best friends family in South Georgia. They grow their own. I will make the cornbread myself, and you can't forget the ham-hock from today's ham!! All topped with fresh chopped onion and hot sauce and served over rice!! Yummy, Yum, can't wait!!!
