The True Founder of Christianity
The teachings of Paul, the true founder of Christianity, cannot be found anywhere in the teachings of Jesus or in those of prophets before him.

The following are some of the innovations that Paul introduced into "his" religion of Christianity.

1. The divinity of Jesus
2. The trinity
3. Atonement
4. Salvation by faith

it seems as though jesus was born and died like millions of people. maybe he was special maybe not. there were plenty of people who had special abilities in the past that wernt god. the point is chriostianity was formed after his death. it wasnt his religion it was pauls. paul just created a religion based on his acount of a man who died many eyars before him

I read a27z's answer to your previous question, and it seems to me that you aren't looking for answers, you're only looking for people to agree with you. This is a sad state of affairs.

Paul did not create Christianity. He did not invent the divinity of Jesus, the Trinity, the Atonement or Salvation by faith.

Jesus, Himself, indicated His own divinity on numerous occasions.

For instance, when Peter said "You are the anointed son of God", Jesus said "You are right."

When the crowds wanted to stone Jesus, and he asked WHY, they said that it was because he claimed equlity with God.

When Jesus was on trial, the high priest asked him, "Are you the son of God?" Jesus said "yes!"

John 1:1 says that "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" ... (v14) "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

The book of revelations, written by John the beloved while exiled on the island of Patmos, indicated that Jesus is "the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Ending", just as God (Jehovah, if you please) said in Isaiah.

Paul's conversion was recorded in the book of Acts, as written by Luke, the very same Luke that wrote one of the gospels, and Luke also pointed out that the divinity of Jesus.

The concept of the Trinity starts back in Genesis 1, when it says "B'raishish bara Elohim (not "Eloheinu") es ha'sh'mayim v'es ho'oretz" - "In the beginning Elohim (God, pleural, not God singular) created the heavens and the earth." Farther down, it says, "And God (Elohim-pleural) said, 'Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness'."

Atonement by the blood of a sacrificial lamb was presented in the Law as "a shadow of better things to come", and when John baptized Jesus, he cried out, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world."

Salvation is always by faith. "Abraham BELIEVED God, and that was accounted to him for his righteousness."

While I am not a Christian, I agree that the non-Trinitarian view of God seems more sensible. You might want to look at the non-Trinitarian versions of Christianity.

I would suggest looking into these Christian churches which are all non-Trinitarian: Jehovah's Witnesses, Christadelphians, Bible Students, American Unitarian Conference, Arian Catholic Church, Oneness Pentecostal, UU Christian Fellowship, etc. Swedenborgianism (look up Swedenborg on Wikipedia) was also non-Trinitarian. Perhaps one of these may speak to your condition. You can find all of them doing an online search.

While it is true that LDS Mormons do not believe in the Trinity, they have a doctrine of Godhead and eternal progression which is more polytheistic than monotheistic.

It was started by Jesus Himself. He sent His disciples out to preach the gospel. It wasn't started by Paul, or Peter, or Constantine. It was started by Jesus. That's the very reason He came. He came to die for our sins. It was GOD'S plan of salvation, not Paul's, not Peter's. GOD'S!
Paul was selected by Jesus Himself to spread the Word. Paul didn't go looking for it. He was killing Christian's for crying out loud. It was Jesus who stopped him on that road, and blinded him, and then showed him the LIGHT. Paul didn't make this stuff up. The Bible is the inspired word of God. It speaks the truth, and that's all it can do, because it comes from God. You can question it all you want, but I know the truth, and so do all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
It isn't "Paul's" religion. It's Jesus' Truth. God Bless

You need to do some more research.

Paul was an apostle of God.
True Christianity is central to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The atonement for mans sins, came about through Jesus
CHrist's, death on Calvary's cross, His Burial, and resurrection
from the grave; not the apostle Paul.

Yes all these are true facts...but no christian will accept it..

they are brain washed from their young age and even if they know that their religion is a construct of all false ideas & beliefs, they still keep propagating those things and keep saying theirs is the only truth...

pity jesus, for he has become the reason for destroying centuries and centuries old of civilization and bring in a way of life which is completely intolerant and doesnt suit humanity to meet its actual final goal.

No religion is false, its like going from truth to higher truth...
our life is a constant search for truth..
but every religion has false ideas and beliefs..that was made over time...
its really bad that christians only follow the false ideas and beliefs and leave away the truth behind their religion.

No Christianity is following Jesus. Jesus picked his disciples and spent years teaching them and preparing them for life without him. Paul (Saul) killed Christians until he accepted Jesus. Paul spent the rest of his life working for Christ. Christianity is faith in God thought Jesus, not in Paul.

You seem to have missed a few Gospel passages:

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I AM: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. :63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? :64 Ye have heard the blasphemy:...

John 8:19 Then they said unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasurey, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

Yes the Pauline nonsense replaced the teachings of Jesus and became the religion we know of today as Christianity.

Ijust have a question, then:

Did PAUL die for our sins, or did Christ?

I never see Paul promoting himself, but I DO see him giving ALL credit to Jesus.
