No, in fact, he is the one who insisted I stay at home even after the kids started school. He figured as long as we could make it and live reasonably well, there was no need for me to work but a great need for me to be the "home anchor"

My former spouse did. He blamed me for everything he couldn't buy for himself. It was a very bad situation. It was great for the kids the few years I was able to stay home. Ex was obsessed with getting more, more, more, for himself. Whatever he got was never enough.
I'm sorry you are going through this. Staying home is great for the kids as long as you can provide the basics for them. They would much rather have you and your time than a lot of stuff.

I am actually a stay at home "DAD", but I paid a lot of bills up until July. She has been doing an awesome job, but she only makes a point of me being a "bum" when shes mad about something else...BUT the money from student loans begins in Feburary...so Its even steven again!

Never. My husband wants me to stay at home and raise our two year old because neither one of us really like the daycare/babysitter idea. So, my husband has picked up a second job to help with our bills. I keep his clothes washed, meals cooked, and the house clean. .not to mention taking care of our son all day!

Not untill he knew the divorce was coming up, then he tried to make me feel quilty and go out and get a job to avoid paying
