There is a person in Bastrop named Ron Lindsey. I have first hand experience with him. He is a gentleman and great martial artist. He does not study the in-depth science of Kyusho, but he can use it well. He studied in Okinawa. He is an Old-Timer. Google him.

This guy's website says he studies or studied with someone I know well:
Tye's Kung Fu
2603 Rountree
Bryan, TX 77803
(979) 255-8670

In Houston there is also someone from DSI.

It's really the science of acupuncture. There are two ways to use it. For healing and for breaking down. The "breaking down" part is part of the healing. According to the science, you sometimes have to go in reverse (energy-wise) to heal specific conditions.

It really is a science. It's real. It's better that some don't believe, though.

If you can't find a dojo in your area or the school won't train you in it because of it's lethal effects without knowing you first a few years. Which is the most common reason why finding training in pressure point styles like dim mak, kyusho jitsu, or 18 taoist palm is very extremely rare. You have no choice but to wait all them years or get into a home certification where you perform the maneuvers on film then submit the tape for rank certification. I know of only one place that offers home certification in Kyusho Jitsu & it's a George Dillman International accredited course. I would highly suggest incorporating striking & grappling styles along with your training preferably something Korean or Japanese since Kyusho Jitsu is Japanese. Also since FOX news did a study where Stephan Bonnor is a test subject that proves Kyusho jitsu has no effect on highly trained fighters martial artists or not.
