We need to always remember to give the Lord our true remembrance at His Table.
This is where we declare His death and Praise Him for all His rich attainments in resurection.
We remember His incarnation, human living, death, resurrection, ascension, enthronement, glorification at His Table when we eat the Lord's supper.
In 1 Cor 11: 24-25 we see
" And having given thanks, He broke it and said, This is my body which is given for you, this do unto the remembrance of Me"
" Similarly also the cup after they had dined, saying, This cup is the New Covanent established in My Blood; this do, as OFTEN as you drink it,unto the remembrance of Me"
This matters to the Lord. Its the one thing that He has asked us to do until He comes again.
From what we see with the early church in Acts... they met day by day from house to house and broke bread.
Acts 2:46
" And day by daym continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house they partook of their food with exulation and simplicity of heart"
Today some churches break the bread once a month.
We do this not just to remember the Lord and all that He did.. but we need to remember to EAT and DRINK of the Lord day by day as our spiritual supply to go on and to be filled and constituted with HIM as our inner substance and weightiness.
His table is not just an observation, but it has real and deep significance to the Lord and to us as His body.
Each week we need this reminder that Christ is our Real Food... to partake of each day until He comes back.

Hey, here In" Winklerville" my folks really squander over that. But no where in the whole Bible does it have a # of times or dates per se to partake of the Lords' Supper. Jesus said "This do in remembrance of me." He did not say to do it every week. Some as those i mentioned earlier believe since they met on a Sunday, that it has to be still done every Sunday. They even deliver it to the shut-in.This is how my mom & dad get it.They believe so strongly in it , they go to these lengths.
This is called "religion". Christ is called "saviour". There is a difference. When we take up works, as Cain did, to replace blood, we loose grace. And we "Are saved by grace through faith, not of works lest any man should boast."

There is nothing in scripture that states how often to partake of the Lords Supper. Some do it so often it loses meaning.

The Lords Evening Meal, Last Supper, actually Passover, was done once a year. That is what was asked of us, that is what the first Christians did. Once a year at passover is when I (JW) observe the Memorial.

It says nothing about the quantity. It does say to "do this in rememberance" so each time you do partake of the Lord`s Supper, remember what Jesus did for you.

My view is to follow what Jesus said, which is to do it each year as they always do (the Jewish ritual), I, however, have also tried to pin down the exact non-moving date and also do it on that day as a special rememberance.

As often as we wish; IF we as mature christians EXAMINE ourselves -- discerning the Lord's body. There is GREAT benefit in frequent observance!
BUT, when observing communion as a congregation, there are perhaps individuals who are in danger of partaking unworthily. Observing communion as a whole church too often runs the risk of the "fence sitters" "eating and drinking damnation to themselves!"
1 Corinthians 11:26 For AS OFTEN as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, UNWORTHILY, SHALL BE GUILTY OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF THE LORD. 28 But LET A MAN EXAMINE HIMSELF, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that EATETH AND DRINKETH UNWORTHILY, EATETH AND DRINKETH DAMNATION to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
Psalms 30:4 -- Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of HIS HOLINESS.
Psalms 97:12 -- Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of HIS HOLINESS.
But lest you think yourself "unworthy" to observe communion, REMEMBER -- His Passion and His sacrificial work on the cross made us worthy if we believe on Him.
Lam 3:19 Remembering MINE AFFLICTION and MY MISERY, THE WORMWOOD AND THE GALL. [[Which HE BORE -- for MY wretched soul!!!]] 20 MY SOUL hath them still in REMEMBRANCE, and is HUMBLED IN ME. 21 This I recall to my mind, THEREFORE HAVE I HOPE. 22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; THEREFORE WILL I HOPE in him.

Whenever we come together, which could mean daily and doesn't necessarily mean in church. Breaking of bread can also mean sharing the Word or the things of God with each other.
