I'm trying to decide between the r7 425 and 460 and am having a tough time finding good side by side reviews that give me the pros and cons of each club when compared. Help?

Usually I don't weigh in on these club questions. But this one is rather obvious to me.

They're the same clubs except the 460 is LARGER!

With the larger clubhead comes more MOI, resulting in the possibility of more distance on off center hits, and also with a larger sweet spots your misses due to off center hits may be not end up quite so far offline.

Also the clubs are a few years apart so I'm sure the shaft options are different....it's always a good idea to get fit for the correct, shaft, ball, clubhead configuration.

Many golf ranges offer this for a small fee. Contact your clubs PGA professional and they'll point you in the right direction.

Good Luck!

The main difference is the size of the head. The 460 would be a little more forgiving on off-center hits so if that is a priority for you go with the 460. If you hit it pretty solid on the sweet spot most of the time, the slightly smaller head of the 425 will offer less resistance to wind and possibly give you a little more clubhead speed and thus more distance. But as with any driver the shaft is the most important component, so rather than reading reviews, best to get fitted by a PGA professional.

The best advice one can give you is to see a golf professional who is a good club fitter. The shaft is the most important element in the golf swing; one that fits your swing speed, physique, and basic swing pattern . Then you can decide on the head size which is most appealing. The looks of a club often inspire confidence.

I have the 460, it and I get along great mainly because of the after market shaft.

More is better, take the 460.
