It's not a great idea to watch romantic movies on a first date. Just watch something fun or something that both of you guys would agree on.

I'm a bit of a snob. I like eclectic independent type films, and if it must be romance give me something like "Chocolat" or "The House of Spirits". If it were my frist date I would rather see something interesting like Will Smith's new sci fi movie, "I am Legend", or perhaps "The Kite Runner." Most horror movies are really trashy. It should be in the same class as "The Shining" to interest me.

I dont know about english movies .i know about indian.movie should be full of love emotions and simple theme with very loving songs.

any scary movie... those are the most fun cuz you can "get scaired". its dark. do the math.
