I don't think she's bi-polar, I think your describing someone who has had some very negative experiences in life, and therefore does not know how to handle certain social situations, if she was abused as a child, her instinct is to handle all situations with violence, chances are acting like nothing happened when it was over, is exactly how her father handled the same situations...
your friend needs help!

She sounds like she has real anger issues. I think that she would benefit from counselling of some kind. Please persuade her to see a doctor or take her if you have too. If you cannot do that what about a family member of hers? You can call a doctor yourself and express your fears. If they are concerned they can do something about it. You sound like a good friend to her so please try to get her the help she needs

Doesn't sound as much bipolar to me as it does anger issues. I bet there's underlying problems causing her to react this way...especially since she had such bad experiences with her father.

She sounds horrible.
Why do you hang out with her?

You can get a restraining order, you know.
Just ask your mom or dad.

Have you even told them what she does to you?
