I'll talk to just about anyone that is friendly and does not creep me out. If I'm in the mood to meet people. Depending on how the "unconfident" man is acting - that can come across as creepy.
Sometimes women go out with our girl friends - and believe it or not - we are not there to meet you. Just because I'm in a bar or in public does not mean I want to be hit on -regardless of what you look like. Sometimes women go out and are receptive to meeting men and sometimes we are not.
Confidence is attractive.
Arrogance is a turn off.

I would like a confident guy to talk to me regardless of how he looked! confidence is the ultimate turn on for me and I emphasise confidence not arrogance!!
