Death. We all return home at the end of our journey. Those submerged in negative emotions will probably strand themselves a while until they see the path - but we all return home eventually.
Peace!

What are your beliefs? Do you believe in God Almighty? Do you believe there is Heaven? Also there is Hell?
Believing in Our Lord is the first step. The second is opening yourself up to a relationship with Him; reading your Bible and learning about Him. The NIV Version of the Bible is a good version to read. More to the point and understandable.
If you do believe, and decide He is important to you and you want Him in your life, then your next step is to be saved and declare to witnesses that the Lord is your Savior and you are turning your life over to Him. You repent of your sins, and live your life the best you can in Him.
Going to church is a good start, and surrounding yourself with a 'new family' of Christian Brothers and Sisters. They will help you to learn as you go, and will also support you thru the growing process as you change into His Image.
Being a 'good person' will not get you to Heaven. If anything, believing in that phrase will send you to Hell. Many people think that's all it takes as they live their life on Earth, but as you read your Bible you will learn differently.......

One word:
FAITH.
Having faith that Jesus was Lord, and striving to live as he did. We are all sinners, and we need to accept this. Jesus knows our hearts, and our desires. If our desires are to glorify and live for Him, then we've got the Golden Ticket!
PHI 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.
HEB 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Eph 3:12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and
confidence.

This is one very important question. I just wish everyone will ask it and not be led around by their noses.
Jesus said in John 3:5 that it is by faith in the water and the Spirit. In other words, it is by His gospel truth of the water and the Spirit.
Read please: Have you been truly born again by the water and the Spirit.
You will no doubt have many answers to your Q. But ask yourself. Are any one of them holy, righteous and sinless before God? Know this, a sinner can only give birth to a sinner...and sinners will never be allowed into heaven.

Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
and that means exactly as it say
Repent - turn from sin
Baptized EVERY ONE of you in the name of Jesus Christ (not in the Titles)
Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost - with evidence of tongues

only Christ can get us into heaven. It is by his perfect, perpetual sacrifice at the cross, by shedding his precious blood our sins are washed away and by offering his body and soul to his Eternal Father. We can't save ourselves, that is why Jesus Christ-The God-man is our Savior, our redeemer, and LORD, he empowers baptised Christians with the Holy Spirit in order to be Holy and obedient to God's Word. God bless.

Perfect Happiness: Now and Forever
[41:30] Those who proclaim: "Our Lord is GOD," then lead a righteous life, the angels descend upon them: "You shall have no fear, nor shall you grieve. Rejoice in the good news that Paradise has been reserved for you.
[41:31] "We are your allies in this life, and in the Hereafter. You will have in it anything you wish for; you will have anything you want.
[41:32] "(Such is your) ultimate abode, from a Forgiver, Most Merciful."
GOD will proclaim, "This is a day when the truthful will be saved by their truthfulness."
On The Day Of Resurrection
[5:116] GOD will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, `Make me and my mother idols beside GOD?' " He will say, "Be You glorified. I could not utter what was not right. Had I said it, You already would have known it. You know my thoughts, and I do not know Your thoughts. You know all the secrets.
[5:117] "I told them only what You commanded me to say, that: `You shall worship GOD, my Lord and your Lord.' I was a witness among them for as long as I lived with them. When You terminated my life on earth, You became the Watcher over them. You witness all things.
[5:118] "If You punish them, they are Your constituents. If You forgive them, You are the Almighty, Most Wise."
[5:119] GOD will proclaim, "This is a day when the truthful will be saved by their truthfulness." They have deserved gardens with flowing streams. They abide therein forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. This is the greatest triumph.
[5:120] To GOD belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and everything in them, and He is Omnipotent.

Jesus made it really simple to understand;
John 3
17 "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
Being 'not condemned' means that heaven will be accessible. God will count you as one of His children.
