I was wondering if I should get braces?
How long does it take, from what I heard some people take 4 or plus years to get it off. Incredibly long, as far as I'm concerned. But I heard others got it off in a year, I'm amazed.
And as for me, I really just bothered by my top front teeth (4 of them) two are pushed in and 2 pushed out slightly. So I was wondering if you can actually fix it (the top part) really cuz I really don't care about the ones in the back, not that it's not straight or anything. My friend only fixed her front, does it cost more expensive, I know some orthodontist wanna fix both sets of teeth, but I don't want to stand pain on both the top and bottom.
I've heard of Damon braces too but I think they're quite expensive. Please share your experience on financial issues, time issues or types of braces that are recommended. It would be great if you include where you got your braces and from which orthodontists in ontario (toronto specifically) area. Thanks!

I does not matter what kind of braces you get, you will have soreness in your gums when they are first put on. After that they are only sore a day or two when you get them tightened. My son had his on for about 2 years. I cost about 3000 dollars. Don't know the cost now, if it is cheaper or more expensive.

In the range of $2,400 TO $5,000 or more. You may have to have teeth pulled before the braces are put in. If you still have your wisdom teeth they will most likely have to come out as well so that your teeth stay straight after the braces are removed.
Yes, you can just have just the tops done. If you are happy with the bottom teeth then just do the top. This will save you a lot of money.
Just know that ahead of time that there is a lot of preparation that you might have to have done before the braces are put in.
My braces were only done on the top and were in for less than a year and then I wore a retainer for over four years. Had a crappy orthodontist so the braces would probably stay in longer if I had-had a better Dr..
Good Luck!

Well, I got my braces in January of this year. My orthondontics said that I really don't need braces but I can get them for cosmetic reasons. One tooth on top is pushed back and I want it to line up with the rest. After my consultation and x-rays of my mouth I ended up getting braces both top and bottom to due a slight over bite. I am scheduled to wear them for 2 years and the total cost is about $3000 dollars with my insurance. I pay $129 a month. Within 2 years I would have covered the cost. I live in Florida.

Hi!
I'd definitely recommend braces =] I had them for exactly 2 years and I love my now perfect smile. They are really not that painful. My parents had a payment plan where they payed 100 dollars a month for the 2 years, so they were about $1,200. (Add in another thousand for extra checkups and the cost of molds, retainers, etc...)Not really that expensive when you consider the fact that the results are permanent (IF you wear your retainers!)
Don't use Invisaligns (those are the clear tooth-shaped things that act as invisible braces) They truly do not work as well, and take longer.
Pain- was not bad. Every time they tightened mine (once every other month) it hurt for 1 to 2 days max. I occasionally got cuts from being hit in the mouth in softball, but if you're careful and avoid contact sports, you could avoid almost any injury.
Definitely do braces =D

I had my braces for 2 years. I think that's the average for most people. Only my two lower front teeth were pushed in so I thought it would take less time, thinking the rest of my teeth were pretty straight. But in order to straighten 2 teeth, all of the rest of your teeth have to realign as well.
I was in my 3rd year of college when I got braces and paid for them 100% by myself. Mine cost about $2500 and paid $100 each month until I paid it all. I got the ceramic braces on my top teeth (was $500 more) and traditional metal braces on my bottom. It's not worth it to get ceramic ones. The rubber bands turn yellow and makes your teeth look yellow. If I were to get braces now, I'd just choose the regular metal braces.
See below for pros and cons of various braces types.

I'm picturing that you have Kristen Dunce's teeth so yea I think you should get braces. And if you need braces on the bottom, you should get it there also because you're going to regret not fixing the bottom ones.
Braces go for about $3500-$4500 (depending on if you get the clear braces) and it takes about 2 years for it to completely fix your teeth. I think braces are worth it, both time and money. I mean who doesnt want to be good looking? A nice smile can go a long way. You'll be less self conscious and pursue the things you want to pursue!

Braces cost around $4000-$5000. It all depends on what type of braces you get, which dentist you see, and the serverity of your teeth.Eg slightley crooked teeth wont need braces for very long. Also, after your braces come off you will need to wear a retainer from time to time to stop your teeth from pushing back into place. When you first get them off you have to wear this clear sheild thing, im not sure what its called but you cant see it. That stops it from going back itno place also and it really hurts cause it not allowing your teeth to fall back into its natural position.
Merry christmas

alrightttyyy.
braces, braces, braces.
they are SO worth it.
it hurts pretty bad for the first week, i was in tears.
but they will straighten perfectly in about a month, then it sucks cause you have to wear them for 6- 24 months, or even longer depending on your case. yes, they are expensive, but WAY worth ittt (: <3

as quickly as I made the pass from action picture to digital, I first regarded on the Nikon D80. it quite is a great digicam, yet as quickly as I in comparison it to the D200, i desperate to pass with that rather. in case you like a specialist grade digicam, the low end is noted as prosumer. (a minimum of i think of that's what you advise by skill of "semi-professional digicam.") i could propose you're taking a glance at the two the Nikon D200 or D300 (which would be on the marketplace in November) or the Canon 30D or 40D.
