I have no idea. I come from a family that has jewish in it and I never understood what people didn't like or why they would discriminate.
Oh and if your talking about on these boards today, who knows too.. I've noticed alot of jew bashing questions on here about 911 and that jewish people are responsible for it.. stupid stuff. Where ever there are people that are closed minded and uneducated there will always big bigotry.

I recommend your reading A.J. Levine's book The Misunderstood Jew- the scandel of the church and the Jewish Jesus. You'll understand a lot more of where the bigotry comes from.

Read the history of the Hebrews and Jews, and maybe you'll understand how they brought this upon themselves.
No one all of a sudden decided to hate the Jews, it is the result of their own attitude towards others and their constant drive to accumulate land and property, many times through illegal means.
The happenings of today in Israel and their treatment to wards the Palestinians are a good example, also read the events of the attack on the USS Liberty,
While your at it, check the vast amounts of UN resolutions directed against Israel, and for what reasons. That will also give you a good idea of an answer to your question.
And it should be obvious to anyone here that they cannot stand the truth.

Ignorance. Monkey see monkey do copying racist parents. Many peoples resented the Jews not because of race that was an excuse, they wanted their holdings and wealth as many were very studious and finances being a field they excelled in, so the clods of the earth decided to find reason to take it from them.

Thank you Julia D. The link is great.
The reasons for anti-semitism have always been a mystery. My own thought is that it is because Jews seek justice, which is threatening to those in power.

The hate towards the Jews in the modern times would be due to the Palestine-Israel confict in the Middle East.
