Born again" is not a religion, it is the "one requirement" that God requires of all mankind to ever see the Kingdom of God. In order to be born again, there is a process of faith, belief and repentance in arriving to this.
JOHN 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
---
This fellow who claims to be "born again" might have been, but now has back-sliden back into sin if his actions are worldly and opposed to God's word.
His actions are what is known as "hypocritical", damaging the credibillity of the Christian community. You should point this out to him in love to set him straight.

No, if they're born again they are either in the process of being delivered from sins like that or they have been delivered from them, in other words, repented of them.
edit:
If someone is born again then they don't say that those things are not sin. They acknowledge that they are sin.
If someone claims to be a Christian and feels no compunction when they sin, then they were not truly converted.

I work with a man who goes to church every time the doors are open and he constantly bashes my atheism. But he uses the f word at least 20 times a day along with godammit and several other choice phrases. But according to him he is going to heaven and I will burn in hell.

Some do. Some don't. Some say they don't. One can do all three and be born again. There is no command against drinking or gambling. Cursing is something that we must repent of if we do it.
Some groups do take a vow not to drink or gamble-for them it would be a sin to do so. One is not bound by another's vows.

Being born again does not erase the tendency of humans to sin, and the more we choose to participate with sin the less power to resist sin we have. If a person is truly born again then they will seek to please God and they will obey God. That does not mean that the christian will never mess up and get involved with sin. It just means they won't stay in sin and be guilt free. People who get involved in sin and pursue sin without guilt or any apprehension then that person is not truly born again.

People who are born again can do any of that stuff.
Whether it bothers them or not is up to the individual.
Romans 14:14
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
