My sister is the same age with the same situation. She gets as much as me, and I am 14. She gets about 81/2 hours each night, and she goes to bed around 9:30. Remember, the more sleep you get, the better you will do in school. Do your homework after you get home, or like me, after dinner. Good luck in school!!!!

for a 11 year old at least 10 hrs....and no less than 9.00 to help you function through the day and stay awake.Try and do your home work like an hour after you come home and try and finish up at a decent time. so you can go to bed and get plenty of rest.

My own personal belief is that when the body feels rested, it's had enough sleep. Sleep is the most important part of the day. It's while we sleep that our body repairs itself of tiny tears in our muscles and fibers. It also aids in day to day functions.An 11 yr. old with alot of homework should get as much rest as possible.

at least 9 hours of sleep is recommended..so you should wake up at 7:00 am.. which means sleep at about 9:00 no later than 9:30..

you should use a vacation to your advantage, go to bed early and see what time you naturally wake up count up the hours, its how much your body wants so probably how much you need thats my guess and unless your mad lazy and just dont get out of bed it will work

8 hours is a must..you're growing
if you have to wake up at 7am, try to go to sleep by 10:30 so you can be asleep by 11pm

make them get alot
likr 8-10, they get very moody and it lowers there grades in school if they dont get lots of sleep
