I want my daughters room to be pink and purple but i am not sure if the idea I have for the painting is a good style move or bad. I want to paint two walls pink and the other two walls purple so that the walls that face each other are the same color. Thank you.

I think that is a neat idea. Most of the time you see 3 walls 1 color and then the other wall the other color. I think the great thing about your choice in colors is that if you paint the walls in that style and then not like it you have a great base for changing one or both of the walls to the other color. We did our daughters room in pink and lime green and everyone seems to love the combination. Good luck.

A lot of good ideas, mdoud!
Keep the whole picture in mind. Proportions are important. about 60% dominant color, 30% contrast and 10% for an accent
so the rest of the room (bedspread, curtians) should probably be the same as one of the wall colors...

Just plan on painting it over if you ever decide to sell, then you can do whatever colors match the decor.
