What's this called?

Like, it's mostly about the near future for me and what's going to happen. I know what God wants me to go to school for and I will date a guy; I know what he'll look like.

There's been other visions; mostly with me and this guy will be doing together. I've seen numbers like 41 and 147 on visions of doors. I know for a fact that I'm moving for college and work. It's like I can see the future.

Well, if you have visions in your dreams, and the visions come true, it's called precognition, if none of them have come true yet, then I would chalk it up to that you are doing some soul searching in the dream state, and telling yourself what would be the most appropriate direction for you to go in the future............If you have truly received this gift, you will also receive lessons in connection with it. Some of the lessons will be about how to understand and use it, and some of them will be life lessons about the effects that how you use it (or mis-use) affect your life. When you attain mastery of the gift, you will receive another gift, and that as well will contain lessons you must learn, in order to prepare you to go on to the next one...

By my understanding dreams are symbolic and visions are literal.

Yes, it is possible to have a vision within a dream.

I know several people who have been given accurate visions of the future by God, and they have come to pass just as they saw. Other people have dreams related to the future, and the symbols must be interpreted for complete understanding.

In dream language, doors can represent opportunities. 41 on a door could mean an opportunity for creativity in an area related to God. 147 is a similar number but suggests that God is directing this creative opportunity and has the added significance of this being related to your spiritual completeness or destiny.

Hi there Chloe,

Sounds about right..... I would say precognition too..... Because it contains you in it......

Rule of thumb is this: if the dreamer is involved in the outcome or has put their hand to task in the dream throughout and it follows or centers around the dreamer, then the dream is about the dreamer or centered around the life of the dreamer and is precognitive...... the dream should show itself within 3 days or more.... minimum 3 days......

With prophetic dreams or dreams of prophecy, the dreamer is more of a witness. They do not center around the dreamer as they are not about the dreamer.... Think of the dreamer as a pair of eyes overlooking a theater of patrons watching a play unfold..... Not only does the dreamer see the play unfold, but they also see the audience as they react to what is occuring.... and the dreamer is but a pair of eyes to witness....

Visions, on the other hand, concern situations both during closed eyes and with opens eyes..... they unfold before the sight.....

The purpose of which is to share with the masses and not one individual..... to know that it is of God, is to compare as a witness would with another witness whether there are similar circumstances.... these two would not know each other......

visions are visions until they become reality. You saw something. Something that seems so real. Wait for it to happen. If it doesn't happen, its not a vision. It was just a dream.
