just know this I love you means you can say and NOT expect it back, even if it hurts....so if thats how you really feel, and you're not looking for anything in return, I say go for it!!!

Saying I love you shouldn't be the thing you're stressing about! It should be spontaneous and really come from the heart. If you really love him then the perfect time to tell him would be when you're ready. It's not like he has to say it back, as long as you get your feelings out there he'll know where you are in the relationship and be able to take that step forward. I know that when you find the right time to say I love you, you'll know how your heart feels.

If you feel like sharing how you feel in words and you feel like he is ready to hear it then go ahead. Yes, you might not hear it back YET and that will suck a little bit but chances are that he feels the same way you do right now. Which is worse..worrying about what might happen or knowing for sure?

If you've been together for a number of months, really gotten to know one another, and you feel you are in love with him, then say it when you feel it's right to express such a deep emotion.

There's always the risk he won't say it back...but then better not to hear it, than him to reciprocate and not mean it.

It doesn't matter who says it first...there's no guideline that it should be the guy or the gal.

are you wanting to say it, just to see if he says it back? how long have you been together?
In my 'our' relationship, HE said it first....i had been feeling that way too, but he said it. and took the pressure off of me, but I did say it back...there is more ways to say and show love than JUST saying 3 words.....

if you feel it then say it. no regrets. you never know.

and it doesn't always suck if he doesn't say it back, do you want him to say it just because or because he means it.....too much pressure just let it happen

The man is suppose to say I Love You first, besides men fall in love faster then women. They also fall out of love faster then women. You already know how you feel, wait to see how he feels.

Do NOT listen to people who tell you to say it first. You mean you aren't aware of the millions of years worth of the same dating rituals? You think that changes because it's 2007? Oh I see, you don't want to wait for that moment he says it. That unforgettable memory you'll have. Go ahead, serve yourself on a platter to him, so he can abuse and take advantage of your love. Yes, it happens. Keep yer trap shut.

If you feel like you're ready to say it then say it.
It should be said when the person feels that they truly love their partner.. it's no specific order for who has to say it first.
