Ok I really really just screwed things up here. I'm dating this girl right now and her parents really can't find out about us, well I was going to meet them pretty soon so they would be ok with it.

Well

Today her and I were texting each other about some "things" and I guess her mother took a look at the phone I saw some of these messages.

Well she automatically called me and said to stay away from her daughter and what not.

What do I do? Right now I think I am straight up SOL but I'm hoping there may be a tiny bit of hope that I can talk to her mother about this and explain a bit

Any advice? This is really really bad

if she does say stop talking to each other then I will respect it

I have a great way of persuading people as well but I don't know if it would work on her mother being how thats something very major.

and I would react the same way

You can't diffuse a bomb once it has gone off. Talk to the girl because it was her screw up for leaving those messages in her phone. If she is ok with continuing the relationship then keep it going just don't leave ant incriminating messages around for her mother to see.

Well if you were saying some stupid and odd..."things" then her mother has every right to doubt your credibility in her daughters relationship with you. What ever you put out there is always going to stay out there, you can't take it back but I think you should be honest with the mother. Honesty would really help her see that even though you aren't such a great guy in the texting world, you're a nice guy in real life... i hope....

Make sure you go over to your girlfriends house and finally meet the parents! Keeping a secret like that, and the mother finding the text, is never good. Start on a clean slate and show the mom who you really are!

DR Griggle, you don't state your ages, but my recommendation would be to back off, if not she can have restraining orders, put against you so you can't call, or be so many yards away. I would say it sounds like you two were doing what you shouldn't have. Toady with all the young kidz doing crazy things, like taking guns to school, grabbing young women in malls and killing them. shootings at colleges, and finding where the kidz are planning on shooting up a school, the police, and courts take things much more serious, and they have reasons to just like the parents. I would suggest you try calling the parents without involving this young lady, and see if things can be worked out. Trust takes years, and years of hard work, but being dishonest can destroy it in a heart beat. Honesty and trust are alwats the best policy but for some reason we think we will never be caught untill it happens, then it's time to pay the piper. Good Luck! Will keep all of you in my prayers.

Don’t let the mother get any worse impressions. Don’t try anything funny.
The next time you two get into contact with each other, behave like a man, which means to not put yourself in such a low position, but have respect for the mother. If there is opportunity for you to explain things, explain them, but don't try too hard, don't seem too desperate, and even if your legs are shaking, don’t show it. Be cool and calm.
And most importantly, treat her daughter well and sincerely, but then again, don’t try too hard, you may not know it, but people could see through it.
And be like her man.

The best thing to do would be to meet with her parents and explain everything. Especially if you are repentant about hiding your relationship from them. If they say you can't be around her, respect them by not communicating with her. It will show to them that you have strength of character, and although it may take a while, in the long run it'll be worth it.

Try to explain to the mother. She is probably just trying to protect her daughter. But if the text that she read was inappropriate then you probably need to stop texting things that her mother might read.

the only thing i can suggest, is maybe arranging for a talk with her dad. talk to him and tell him you are interested in dating his daughter. if that doesnt work you can either wait til they let her date, or do it behind their backs. but i will try talking to her parents. it might work depending on how old you guys are. My dad didnt believe i should date, or even tlak to guys(i was out of highschool at this point). My (future) husband had a "meeting" with him, and my dad finally agreed to letting us date
