i got my ears pierced 8 weeks ago and really want to wear wire earrings (the dangly ones) when can i wear them ????

It would probably be fine to wear them- just try it with some light ones first, see what happens. As for heavier things, wait a while.

You can change studs after 6-8 weeks, but I don't recommend the heavier (dangly) earrings until your ears have been pierced for about 6 months.

I tried to wear wires at 6 weeks but I found the hole was still tender and it felt weird putting them in because the end of the wire is sharp and can hurt the ear. Now after 3 months it is easier to put them in - I think you learn how to put them in properly after a few attempts.
