my ex has ignored me since september because
i moved away.. and now im back for a week seeing
my other relatives and he writes me after months
of silence he wrote an e-mail saying "merry christmas"
and that was it!!!! what should i do?? should i write him back?
what should i say?????

Girlfriend at least say merry christmas back. Then just wait and see if he send you a message back. But dont say merry christmas how have you ben or any thing like that. Just keep it mutual. if he replays then start talking.

I do not know or understand what your problem is .Your ex boyfriend whom you haven't seen since September(because you moved away though you claim he ignored you)e-mails you.He wishes you a merry Christmas and now you say you don't know what to do or if you should respond. He is your ex isn't he, so what else did you expect from him. If you still love him and want to get back together simply say so and then try to see what can be done in that respect.Right now, what is the issue?

If you REALLLLLY want to email him back, I think just saying "Merry Christmas to you too" and nothing more will suffice.
If he wants to chat, he'll go further, if not, well, you still emailed him.
