my boy friend proposed today.in front of his parents who are split up.not at all romantic.i was half way through dinner with no make up on as i have no time to myself.in short i feel it wasnt good enough especially all the crap i have been through.he an alocoholic who recovering aand iv had to nurse him through it with a small baby.i want recognition of my care with an at least half thought out proposal.

Wait...you turned down a proposal because God forbid you didn't look perfect enough or the situation wasn't perfect for you? How ungrateful can you be?
If you said you weren't going to marry him because he's an alcoholic I'd understand. But not saying saying yes because the timing and how you looked wasn't ideal? Good grief. I hope he drops your selfish and ungrateful as*.

i feel sorry for the guy, it must take a lot of guts to propose to someone and its not always like in the movies. try to imagine how he is feeling.
