You need to recheck your Hebrew. Micheal Gabriel, and Lucifer were the top Arch Angels of Heaven. Micheal is the defender of Israel and Gabriel stands as the Divine messenger of the Almighty God. Lucifer was the highest ranking , most beautifulest Arch Angel until sin was conceived in Him and he became Satan, The Arch Enemy of both God and man. He will have a son come forth and be the Antichrist deceiving both the Jews and the world at large to bow down and worship Him as god, causing all to receive a mark under their skin in order to buy or sell, as a mark of ownership to Satan. Go to trumpetmin.org and click, could this be the mark? It is here now. As far as Micheal taking Satan place this is unlikely being that Micheal will watch over the 144.000 Jews to keep them from harm during the 7 year tribulation period while Satan's son will rule the United nations.

Satan was formerly known as Lucifer, meaning light bearer. He was an archangel until he rebelled and wanted to "take over" God cast him out of heaven and all the angels who followed him and they became Satan and his demons still on earth with us today.

Michael the archangel is the head of God's army of warrior angels. His name means, "Who is like unto God," and that refers to the unique majesty and glory of the Lord -- NOT to Michael himself.

Biblically, Satan is described as the most beautiful and wisest of all the angels before he fell. He wanted to take God's place, and Michael and the other angels warred against him. He and a third of the angels who were also in rebellion were thrown out of Heaven. Michael then became the most powerful angel.

Please, discard all books that define "angels" they twist and distort the truth into a fairytale that is typical of a Hollywood writer.

The truth is basic and provided below:

Furthermore, the reaction to accounts of angels in the Bible and the pictures provided in Church are a good indication of why the Church, while knowing the angels are pure spirit without a body, still blesses representations of them with wings.
The latter allows mankind a way to identify with the angel etc...
Otherwise, how would we draw or sculpture a heavenly spirit?

Also, one of the popes had a vision of the Angel regarding the church and this archangel is said to have ap

peared at Fatima Portugal as the precursor to the Apparitions of the Virgin.

In Fatima, St Michael was a different entity than Jesus, for he held the Holy Eucharist in his hand to give to the children. Jesus, present in the Holy Eucharist, and St Michael exhorting the children: "Do not bow to me, for I am a mere creature."

Well, wouldn't it stand to reason, that once the Adversary was cast out of Heaven, someone had to fill in for him? Micha-El "who is like G-d" may have been assigned the job or volunteered for it.
