I think human birth and it's meaning goes beyond the biological parents, so if a child dies at birth, it's what the soul of the child needed to happen and had nothing to do with God. Our souls are always eternally one with God no matter what happens. I think if you try for another baby, it will be OK. I'm sorry for your loss.

My sister lost her 21 year old daughter which was really hard on my sister. In some ways having a still-birth could be better than having your child pass away after growing up to be a teen or young adult. It's a very sad thing for a child at any age, even at 0.

I am sorry to hear of your trouble. Did you have a miscarriage? Have you ever considered that the unborn child may have had a serious problem, a congenital disease, or some other horrible condition? Not all fetuses develop properly. Lately, one child out of every 150 is autistic. Only God knows why certain things happen. I am sure that your baby will have life in the resurrection, as promised.

1. All of humanity has free will, thus if someone caused it, it was that person's choice for whatever reason. (Or caused by other choices made)
2. Sometimes an unborn child dies because either the situation was not right for them to enter the world for whatever reason, possibly something to do with "grand design" or a "master plan" or they were an angel who escaped from heaven to live on earth. My niece was one such child, she had experimental heart surgery when she was 6 months old, we were able to "steal her" until she was 10, then she was called back up.

Most often these things happen and faith is tested, (I personally am not Christian, but I get it) so the thing to do is to mourn for the little one and to be strong.

*hug* You will make it through.

Please do not listen to Tara.
That's the worst answer I ever
heard.
Please let me say how sorry I am and I know how you are
hurting, but believe me, God
did not do this!!!
We are all in a physical body and that body can either carry a child to full term or maybe
it cannot. If you are a young
person, it may be that your
own body has not developed
sufficiently for you to carry
a baby to term.
something that should make
you feel better tho, is that
no baby, after conception,
whether it is aborted, miscarried or died in childbirth
or even as a child, is abandoned by the Lord God.
that baby goes straight into
the arms of Jesus and lives
forever in Heaven. Your baby
is waiting for you there. And
please never believe the Lord
God caused this to happen.
You will receive a healthy
baby and you can lavish on it
the same love for both your
2 children.

The answer is not always apparent to us. It may be a long time before you do understand if you ever do get to understand...in the meantime, you need to take time for yourself...grieve, be sad and when you are able, take your time to join the rest of the world again.
I'll share a story...my sister lost an unborn baby boy and was devastated...not long after, she became pregnant with her daughter...I see it that her daughter could not have existed without the boy leaving. This is what happened with her.
Have faith in God and yourself that you will get through this...her soul is resting.

I know what you are going thru. I lost my unborn son 14 years ago(he would have turned 14 this month) I didnt blame God for it, it was not His fault. Sometimes there is something wrong with us or with the child growing in us and sometimes there is nothing wrong at all. That child was just not meant to be born. I know my son is being well taken care of in heaven by God our heavenly Father and by Mary our heavenly Mother and his grandfather and I await the day I will get to finally hold my son and meet him. I will pray for you, God Bless

I would have to say that God allows bad things to happen because God Loves us,sounds wierd but still true.
To Love someone means to give them Freedom to choose, even to choose wrong things and so many of us choose wrongs things instead of following God in Love and Wisdom.

Sorry for your loss, that is rough.possible reasons for all we can do is guess based on our knowledge of God and how we see them.

So that you would ask and hopefully come to a better understanding and trust in God.
So that the little one would be raised in Heaven(hopefully by you) instead of this pain filled and sorrowful world that is quickly approaching the end.
May have been unknown medical reasons also.
Trust in the Creator and know that They allowed this for the best reasons possible and while we may not know the answer truly to what that is know Jesus will most certainly explain it when He comes back, I fully believe that He is like that.
may The Father of all heaven and earth and all that is in them bless you with peace in your heart in the days to come. My prayers are with you as I'm sure many of the people who have answered here are doing also for you.

I'm so sorry that this happened to you.

I disagree with the people who said it was your fault. Nobody knows enough about your situation to make a statement like that.

I also disagree that God did this to test your faith. I don't believe He works that way.

Our world is a place where, unfortunately, bad things often happen to good people for reasons that we cannot understand. In your case, you have lost somebody that you loved and cared for, and you must be feeling a lot of pain in your heart. I am sorry that nobody can answer your question about why it happened.

I hope and pray that, in time, your heart will be healed, although you will always feel sadness and wonder about what could have been. Please accept my condolences.

I know that this hurts a lot and you almost can not come up with an answer. Some say things happen for a reason. My sister had a atopic pregnancy and had to have 1/2 of her reproductive system taken out. I still to this day have not been able to console her because it is so hard to be able to do this. My sister was supposed to have a daughter as well and I know she thinks about it everyday. It is hard I just know that there was a reason. I hope that you are able to conceive again and I pray for you...

There was a day that I placed my hand on my wife's stomach and said "Jimmy I Love You!" to my son that was in the 7th month of pregnancy. Each time he responded with a kick in responce to his name.
The next day while I was at work his mom took his life. I said that so you would understand that I feel for you and understand a little of how you feel.
God offers us and our family protection, but that protection is based upon us walking in Him, that is seeking to walk pleasing to Him.(Psalm 91). Often we open the doors without knowing it that allows satan and his demons to do us harm and harm to our families.
I have fund out if I look around, I can help others from walking through the same pains by sharing what I have been through and keeping them from getting abortions or doing other harmful things. I have to admit I do not fully understand why bad things happen, but I have learnt for sure that Jesus loves me and helps me to move forward in my life.
I will be praying for you and hoping for a better future for you.
God Bless
